Whately - Hatfield

Pioneer Valley Sport Parachute Club operated for a number of years out of Turners Falls, MA, but in 1959 or 60 they relocated to Pilgrim Airport for a year. The grass runway was in Hatfield, but the hangar was in Whately. I remember watching them jumping on weekends from Whately Center, where my grandmother lived. I had no interest at all in jumping back then.
