Elkton

This was operated by Bob Bozwell (Boz) as a branch of Greene County Bardstown. I made my first jump here in 1975. GC Elkton operated from about 1974- 75. Previously, the "Western Kentucky Sport Parachute Club" operated at this county airstrip (now closed) for a couple of years in the early 70s. For a short period of time both operations were at this location. This was a very nice 2800 ft. (?) grass strip surrounded by large farm fields.
