This DZ operated at a county airport by the actual name of "Chandler Interplanetary Airport". The DZ operated in the early to mid 80s. At one time there was a DeHavaland Heron based here. They must have bought it cheap. It was an awful jump plane: maintenance and fuel on four Lycoming piston engines, SLOW climb, small door, and the spars protruded into the cabin to where it was like running the hurdles to exit.
