 Jumping started in 1962 with Chuck Jensen. His first student was Clifford B. Dobson on June 10, 1962. Park Dobson flew his C-180 for the jumpers. All 4 Dobson Brothers jumped along with their father making 1 jump. Steve Bowen also learned to jump in Alliance. The Dobson Dodge Skydivers also jumped into the Box Butte Co. Fair for over 35 yrs often bringing in jumpers from Lincoln, Omaha, Iowa, and Colorado to jump the DC-3 owned by Don Brown then Airport manager.
